Well I took my 1958 3 screw Ruger Single-Six out to the range this weekend for the first time, what a great revolver to shoot, It just has the rear slot for sights but shot great groups, once a guy got on to it. Anyone else shoot these great revolvers? Thanks

Any I've shot have been tack drivers.
Excellent firearms.
I have a couple and they are both a pleasure to shoot.
I particularly like in .22 mag.

The old ones have nice lines and I like how the cylinder indexes correctly when reloading..... allows you to look around and enjoy the view as you reload.... :)

Really enjoy shooting my single six, even though I'm punching paper or hitting a little metal plate. The crisp single action click click is such a sweet sound. I have fond memories of shooting around the farm with my dad. The extra rule laden ranges take most of the fun out of it.

Looks pretty mint for a classic. The sharpie is bringing down your pictures though...... :)
Fold some paper behind the gun if you need to tilt it, some natural lighting without the flash wouldn't hurt either.

Beauty gun though, mine is a bit more worn and sports wooden grips.

Raining here as well which is great!
Even close to a window where the natural light can spill in works.
Did the ammo come with it?
