Ruger Single-Six

Well I took my 1958 3 screw Ruger Single-Six out to the range this weekend for the first time, what a great revolver to shoot, It just has the rear slot for sights but shot great groups, once a guy got on to it. Anyone else shoot these great revolvers? Thanks

Any I've shot have been tack drivers.
Excellent firearms.
I have a couple and they are both a pleasure to shoot.
I particularly like in .22 mag.

I want to see open carry become a thing so I can pack one.

The old ones have nice lines and I like how the cylinder indexes correctly when reloading..... allows you to look around and enjoy the view as you reload....

Yes, mine only came with one cylinder 22r. as in the early years

I love mine. It's just a joy to shoot. I, too, like the 22WMR. Mine was made way back in 1978.

Really enjoy shooting my single six, even though I'm punching paper or hitting a little metal plate. The crisp single action click click is such a sweet sound. I have fond memories of shooting around the farm with my dad. The extra rule laden ranges take most of the fun out of it.

I wanted stainless but got a good deal on a blued.

Looks pretty mint for a classic. The sharpie is bringing down your pictures though......
Fold some paper behind the gun if you need to tilt it, some natural lighting without the flash wouldn't hurt either.

Beauty gun though, mine is a bit more worn and sports wooden grips.

Raining here as well which is great!
Even close to a window where the natural light can spill in works.
Did the ammo come with it?

And yes we need a soaker! Like 3 day soaker! help the farmers and fire fighters!

A one week soaker would be nice out west, but as it is we are getting a couple days of mild intermittent rain.
