i got one, picked it off a co-worker for $100 less then he got it for new and he only put like 2 mags through it.
i like it.
its not my fav gun but for the price its a damn fine gun.
i recommend it to anyone with medium to small hands and any new shooter i come across who's looking to get into shooting.
for a sub $500 gun you cant go wrong.
ive had no failures on it and im not easy on my guns, i think nothing of dropping them on the ground and kicking them around then picking them up and shooting them.
mags are easy to find for it.
holsters seem to be around for it.
and for a new shooter its REAL easy to take down and clean.
just like a M&P and Glock, flip the secret switch and the slide falls off, barrel pops out with the spring and your done.
im planning on letting my kids beat it up for a few years before i let them fondle any of the guns i actually use.
for the price you cant go wrong with the SR9.
(sorry im a visual person, here's mine, if you look close you will see its sporting scratches and such, i wasnt kidding about playing hard!)
