Ruger SR9 Review and Range Report

On a Glock I find that if I loaded all 10 rounds it is quite hard to rack the slide to chamber the first round, so I usually lock the slide open first, load the mag, then rack the slide.
Of my three Glocks only one of mine was like that for a while. After about a month it worked itself out and now all my my mags are easy to rack when full with the slide closed. Is your Glock new, low round count?

I had one on order with Wholesale in Langley which would be 2-6 weeks to get, walked into International and they had one in the showcase. Paid for it last night, waiting for my A.T.T.
This is going to be my first handgun owned, shot quite a few but this one will be my precious (yes, I used the lord of the rings voice when I wrote that) cou:

I cannot wait to take it home, then take it to the range and run some rounds through it. Loaded a few variations of ammo to try to see what I like best before doing a mass production run through my progressive press and spending the whole day at the range breaking her in. :dancingbanana::dancingbanana::dancingbanana:

Just got mine today, shipped from Epps. I love the feel of this gun...lightest and most comfortable handgun I've held...can't wait to get it to the range.

I just finished cleaning out all the factory grease and goop...a little Hoppes oil on the important points and a wipe down with Remoil and she feels nice and smooth.
