Ive owned both Rugers, Brownings, a ton of 700s. All required some sort of after purchase tweaking to get to shoot reasonable good. I traded a semi 10 gauge for a T3 Varmint in a 204 on this site 6 years ago. Since then I have bought, 4 more Tikkas. Two T3 lites ( 204, 22-250) 2 varmints T3. A 7 mm and a 223. Except for the 22-250 they are the 4 most accurate rifles I have ever owned. Including a couple of rebarrelled trued Remingtons. I read about all the plastic, and while aesthetics matter, in my Tikkas it has no way impacted their reliability. And my guns are shot, banged around in trucks, quads, airports. I have owned 5 Rugers, great little guns, all have had trigger and bedding work done, The best was a 223 varmint barrelled that shot at best 3/4 MOA. Not too shabby and was my go to gun for many years and killed truck loads of pelts.( I'm a commercial seal hunter). My next gun will be a Tikka and the one after that until I get a bad one. just my 2 cents.
