Rugger 10/22 kits pics

I just managed to find a straight up black 10/22 from The Shooting Center in Calgary. Last one, $330. So stoked! :)

HiCal, I'll be sending a marauder order your way very soon!

Very excited to have entered this world. Can't argue with $24 for a 525 round box of ammo.

Yup...Canadian Gun Laws are a clear as mud.
Right From The Horses Mouth.....

"The following devices are prohibited from entering Canada:

silencers or devices designed to muffle or stop the sound of a firearm;
certain cartridge magazines above a given capacity. Generally, cartridge magazines are limited to 5 rounds for centre-fire, semi-automatic rifles or shotguns and 10 rounds for semiautomatic handguns, with exemptions for certain magazines;
bullpup stocks;
replica firearms (see additional information on replica firearms below); and
devices prohibited by regulations."

well that sucks the big one

How much was the shipping from Brownells? I really want a Tan one.

Shipping was $50 although I ordered another $200 of stuff on top of the chassis. Also the chassis doesn't come in tan at the moment so you'd have to paint it or something, or you could just do something similar to what I'm doing and just use tan accessories.

I'm about to drop my compact into the Marauder Kit. At first I like the look of the "flash suppressor" with the shorter barrel, but now I'm thinking the faux silencer might look better. Since it won't fit on my 16", I'm thinking of getting a bull barrel. What are your thoughts on the muzzle brakes or bull barrel? Any pics of a Marauder with a bull barrel or even just your 10/22 in the kit?

I've decided on swapping out my 16" barrel to a Dlask 10/22 12.5" bull barrel with an XB4muzzle brake. With the shorter barrel, does this rifle now become restricted since the stock folds (OAL less than 26")? If yes, does simply pinning the stock keep it NR?

Yes. if you modify the stock so it cannot fold it will be non-restricted provided the OAL is above 26".

Thanks! That brings me to my next question: can anyone tell me the best way to modify the stock so that it doesn't fold? I've read that someone used glue, another tried pinning it somehow.
