Rumour of M1 Garands coming soon

Not just the price, but what are the conditions? No one wants any beat up junks or bubba.

All factors to consider , ---but , --- are Springfield A., Winchester, Int. Harvester, etc. making any MORE of them ???-- Yeah like god is making more real estate!!!

So, i'll be making room for another here !!

for that kinda cash they had better be US made ones...all but the very very best of Bredas and Barettas are $500 or less guns IMHO.
 
What country are they coming from?

Hot and Humid could mean rust and pitting.

Denmark with VAR Barrels- OK++++++.

Hopefully the barrels arn't shot out with no rifling. Time will tell.
 
M1 Garands coming soon

To clarify a point mistakenly made on this board, please be advised of the following statment:

Ellwood Epps is not presently taking any orders, reservations or requests for M1 Garand rifles at this time. There has been a rumour spread on this board that Epps is to be receiving a shipment of these guns.

"...making any MORE of them ???..." No. All the machinery that they had has long since been sent elsewhere or recycled. Except for the Springfield Armoury, none of those companies have made M-1's since the 40's. Springfield Armoury(the Government arsenal) quit making them when they tooled up to make the M-14 in 1957ish.

Well, if I'm not mistaken, there was or is a company in Australia that were making new M1 Garands. But, the only pic I ever saw of one, was on a rifle range in the States, and the damn thing had blown up!! The guy had a rather messed up forearm, but other that that, not hurt too bad. The gun was in about 50 pieces...

....I remember buying mine from Lever...not too long ago....149$......... Should have bought the family pack 4 for 500$ If I remember correctly.

Bull####. There is tons of cheap 30-06 in the US, the Greek and Korean manufactured stuff often comes in garand clips. Someone just needs to get it approved for Canada...

Greece sold 36 million rounds of the stuff into the US last year, CMP is selling it by the case right now in the US.

I need to commit an entire room to firearms is what i need to do. It took a year to brainwash the wife into being ok with guns in the house. How long to
get the room????.

Want more Garands. Want some of that Greek ammo too. Hey Canam can you get some of that??

Tell her it's a guest room, it has bed.... Some safes, a work bench, guns on the walls and a reinforced door but it's a guest room! :D
