In other news....

Still waiting for the detailed photographic evidence of И and K series rifles in hardwood stocks that are also:
ALL MATCHING, ALL ORIGINAL, NON REFURB

Seriously, this whole hardwood or laminate debate could've ended almost as soon as it started if someone could just post the verifiable photographic proof of the of all original hardwood И and K carbines that are apparently swimming all over Canada.

For nearly a week now there have been a lot of claims and a lot of hot air expelled touting these "flying hippo" unicorn carbines. Yet for nearly a week now there has been not one ounce, not one square inch, not one meager verifiable shred of evidence that they exist.

They say that it is factually and logically impossible to prove non-existence. Yet, somehow, we seem to be doing a bang up job of exactly that. Teamwork makes the dreamwork.

Post the detailed photographic evidence, already.

Lots of hot air. Still No proof.

You are correct, Pinky. That rifle showed up on both forums. And on both forums, it was shown via consensus to be

......(drum roll)......

(Stephen Hawking's Robot voice) .....a refurb.

And NOBODY claimed it wasn’t a refurb. Gawd you’re dense.

Bubs, why would I give you the time of day, much less take the time to take and post pics when:

You lost all credibility when you claimed 100% no hardwood stocks in 57/58, then ran to SKS Files and asked if it was actually true. I see you got no answer there either from that pool of experts.
You lied about what was said by very respected and knowledgeable experts here (I don’t claim to be either myself).

I wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire.

Bobthebuilder dude....

Your friends with oldoutlaw right?

Ask him about his correspondence with a russian that has first hand knowledge that the letter guns were NOT assembled at Tula. This is OLD news
Nope, sorry don't know him or her, are they on CGN or another site? I would love to travel to Russia and speak to someone who worked at Tula and or izhevsk if any are still alive, can imagine a lot of things could be cleared up. It would probably be hard to get a visa.

You lost all credibility when you claimed 100% no hardwood stocks in 57/58 .

You're forgetting, Pinky that I haven't been proven incorrect.

For nearly a week since I made that claim, plenty have said I was full of crap. I have already stated that I am willing to be proven incorrect. But there ain't nobody taken the time to put up the proof.

Show me the proof, or wind your neck in.

For the hundredth time:

Detailed photographic evidence of И and K letter carbines in hardwood stocks that are also:
ALL-MATCHING
ALL-ORIGINAL
NON-REFURB

It's a really simple request. Point camera. Focus camera. Click camera. Repeat numerous times. Then post em online.

Happens a bazillion times everyday. Yet, somehow, over nearly a week of hot air no one has figured out how to do that?

I've recall the posts over on the survivor's forum that incolved the discussion of this Russian character.

IIRC, he was in some way associated with confirming that the Д, И, and K prefixes were associated with year of manufacture.

Though I am not sure if anyone ever verified his credentials.

I'm officially withdrawing and unsubscribing from this thread.

Someone can dm me, or I'll check back when the detailed photographic evidence gets posted.

Until then, I'll keep the crow in the freezer.

Heck, there have been a few claiming to know exact numbers imported, but yet none of them have provided jack squat.
Not sure what you want sir, through the access of information act you can do that legwork yourself and check the rcmp documents( will take some work) to see how many sks came into Canada first hand, any firearm imported is logged and documented, you may even be able to get the serial numbers but maybe not. We are mostly nice to know but if YOU need to know then do the leg work. Same as saying different years did or did not have laminate or birch stocks is all hearsay unless there is documentation from the factories, or, barring that, someone who worked there. Which is why, as I said, I would love to travel to Russia and find someone who did, if there are any living or find some documents from the factory!

To be the center of attention

ROFLMAO..... Im asking the community. Im giving you the opportunity first, or I will have no other option then to use the figure I was give...... which I have already given you!

Some of you guys are dense beyond dense.

No other option? You sound as if this is actually important work. Laugh2

Your figures are wrong, as has been pointed out to you. You also didn’t provide any sources but demand this from others.

Perhaps most importantly ....I don’t think anybody here really cares about your “important” census work. Laugh2

Ah yes,. More name calling and no numbers. Why am I not surprised?
Where in my comments did I name call? Oh, perhaps when I called you sir, so nasty, if you don't want to do the research then take the info you have and be done with it, most have given you numbers we deem to be correct and you say no, so you must have better sources, use them. This isn't curing cancer, it is something to do on a bad weather day, not important to anyone, just interesting and in that light it seems you push too hard and complain too much.
