Wow! But I'm always hesitant with regards to a "war trophy"... Lots of fakes...
"This Russian, Tula Arsenal, 1954 SKS is a fully documented war trophy of a soldier based at Dong Tam in the Mei Cong Delta region of South Viet Nam April 1968 – March 1969. This SKS is in very good condition".
auction not ended yet , bidding up to $1200 ....wow!!!
it comes with photos, maps, documents and VC flag .

I'm wondering when we all get our SKS', the EE or the general value of SKS' will drop dramatically? I can't see people charging $300 + for these rifles when everybody bought them for under 200 (from SIR). Am I right or can we all just sell them for profit after?
You will see the same thing as with the Norinco M14's . As soon as the dealers sell out (and even before that) Guys will be putting them up for sale in the EE for way more than what they sold for . Of course the adds will say

Very Rare Original Russian SKS rifle . Special selection hand picked , You cant find one better , Unfired since left the former Soviet Union . Don't miss this chance to own this highly prized rifle , One just sold at auction for over $2000,00 . Must sell to fund new project , First I'll take it for $700.00

But for me I will take my SIR & Fromtier SKS's and shoot them till they're worn out
And the bubbaing begins... Don't forget an ATI Dragonov stock.![]()

Did I hear correctly that getting after market stocks will be a problem in the near future. I was speaking with a local supplier a month ago, and if I remember correctly he mentioned something about the USA not allowing the importation of SKS stocks. Then again he may have just been trying to get me to buy one of his stocks lol.
My Russian has an original stock ( not cracked) and I was thinking of putting an after market one on just to make sure I myself do not crack the stock. I want just the basic Monte Carlo one. Who makes the best one, A.T.I, or Ram line or Choate.
