Russian SKS45 long thread.

Because they are unexpected delays that I or no one has control over. The mags were suppose to be pinned, but were not. I can only say when they should be shipped because I can not promise something I do not have control over. If there was a truck drivers strike, a promise that they would be here in 2 days would be no good. I can only say when they should be here, provided everything goes as planned. So far almost nothing has.

I understand what you're saying, but still, you should not tell people that it's "going to be shipped this week" if you're not 100% sure.

When is the second batch (the 100 rifles) going to be shipped, or do you have no idea?

Ah, let's ease off on the man. We'll get em soon enough.

X2 on the Ease off, I think everyone needs to go eat some Candy, Happy Halloween everyone & if you eat toooooooooo much Candy you will have nightmares about the SKS shipments getting stolen by the Zombies!!!!!!!!!!

I see mention that the first batch of 100 will not be the same (less) quality as the second batch. Just shooter quality. Is there truth to this? I can't find any official mention on this topic, just second hand reference

Apparently, the only reason why the original batch was said to be of "collector's grade", was because there's more of them. More SKSs = More chance of getting ones with matching serial numbers. The 100-Batch isn't any better... so I've been told.

The quality of the ones I saw a few weeks ago at a gun show in the states were very good. They were packed in grease for $279. They were Russian. They appear larger and more solid than the Norinco/Chinese SKSs. They were not flying off the tables at that price. Every second or third table had 4 or 5 to choose from. I will wait for my 2 to come in.

I think what you saw were Yugo M-59's, Russian SKS are not common in the USA and sell in the $350.00 to $400.00 range.

Do you know for 100% sure that your car will not get a flat tire today? Probally not, but if you havent figured out yet, in life nothing is 100%. So even if the rifles are sitting in our store there is a dozen possible delays that can come up. Acording to how things normaly go I will tell people when the items should be here. Since I have no control over the weather, road conditions, transfer time, gun smiths (pining mags), it is not possible to tell you 100%.
