Oh, and PS, the Great Pumpkin DOES exist. It is the oldest on-campus tradition at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. Every year a 500 lbs+ Giant Pumpkin called "The Great Pumpkin" is filled with pyrotechnics and heaved off the roof of Harrison House, a 3-storey residence on campus. It explodes when it hits the ground amongst much ceremony and fanfare on Halloween Night. Worth seeing if you are ever in Fredericton on October 31.

"Experts", especially those who have published books or articles, are notorious for digging in their heels on a position, regardless of proof or lack thereof.
If they won't pony up the goods, then their word alone isn't good enough (for me anyways).

need not cut the top cover pin , just simply grind the lug inside the pin with a dremel and you can save the pin and re-use it when ever you wanna revert back , then, you need to drill out the old lug and put in a new lug.

i had a hard time getting vendors in the US to send me a norinco pin so you can imagine a russian pin will be next to imposssibe.

Well I stopped in at SIR/Cabelas and asked the guy at the gun counter about when the SKS's will arrive and his reply was that he not sure of an exact time but he knows for sure that they are shipped.

Probably does not mean much but thought i would let everyone know what i was told.
 
It's going to be so weird when we actually get them. Know what would really suck???? The rifles all get shipped and then Canada post goes on strike...... AAAAAAH! I'm sorry that is so not funny. But would be par for the course.
 
I cancelled my SIR order. Just waiting for my Frontier order to come in.
Then I need some ammo... I think I'm gonna take a break from buying all these firearms for a while after this.
 
This is the worst time for them to come... I don't have the 169.99 + tax + shipping anymore. I was prepared to wait until summer, I guess on the visa it goes... No way am I cancelling though.
