Just that many more super glued cold dead hands the lefties will have to pry open.
I'm not going to lie I am getting anxious for there arrival, but they will get here, when they get here. I'm not canceling my order, I'm not out anything by waiting, and there's other guns to shoot in the mean time. If you wait long enough you might start to forget about it, and it will be like a surprise or something.

I am glad I found an older matching Russian SKS I don't have to wait. I was going to sell or trade it but I will just keep it.
If the Liberals get elected there won't be any Semi-Automatics coming into the country. Especially after the negative report on the attack on Dawson College by a mentally ill AH, Gill.
So get ready to Vote and make your friends get out as well.
I wouldn't use the gun laws as a convincing tool, tell them about the Carbon Tax and how much it will cost them, and what little they will get out of it. I think giving them something to relate to that will affect them directly and will give them reason to defeat the Liberals.

Ha! No Gremlins here. It's true that the 858 was more money than 4 SKS's, but then if I get run over by a bus tomorrow, I've had a summer's worth of fun with it, while my SKS order was wandering around Russia.
A bonus of the 858 purchase is that my neighbor is a "professional" (i.e. paid) NDP campaign worker, and the sight of me cleaning it on the picnic table absolutely gob-smacks him. He can't believe that such a thing can happen in "his" Canada.
Reason enough right there, in my book.
I'm betting that with all the delays and uncertainty we've already had, it's November 2009 they're talking about for the SKS's arriving, LOL.
Maybe I'll put in a new order, just to see what kind of story I get _this_ time. As to investing, I'm so old I remember when you could buy new-in-grease Lee Enfields in crates at the Army & Navy ($20 per rifle), so I can sympathize with the idea. But I don't think I'll be around long enough to profit on the SKS's.
P.S. Yes, the NDP actually pay people to campaign for them in Alberta. Talk about optimists.
