Obviously, some one at cabela should know all the details on shipment status. If it's at custom's warehouse and not allowed to Canada, the importer would pay for storage (possible disposal, etc.). happened to me few years ago when I tried to import case of brandy from eastern europe...The point is the shipment and it's actual status is trackable and should be exactly known to the importer.
Customs probably has to clear them, and it could take a while. One guy in Creston bought a quad down in the 'States, and customs had to hold it for a while until they could get to clearing it for entry. It took a while, and I figure that even if customs works to clear it, they probably have so much work to do until they can get to it.

I do hope that they get here soon too. But most of all I hope that the one I get is very beautiful and an excellent shooter.
When I ordered one of the new shipment of rifles, I was under the impression it would be here by the end of the month. If they don't show till a week or two before the big shipment gets in, I'm going to be rather irate, in all honesty.
