Russian SKS45 long thread.

Ya the mini shipment of the higher priced lower quality rifles that mysteriously showed up almost a yr after the original shipment (we are all waiting for ) was suppose to be here

#1- the only reason there are more shooter grades in this shipment is because it is a smaller shipment. It's simple math, the probability of having a rare #s matching rifle is lower when the total number of rifles is lower.

#2- It costs more money because there is more middle men involved and its wasnt bought in bulk..also very logical

#3- I mean this as respectfully as possible, youve allready bought another rifle. Everyone knows your not pleased with Frontier. Let it go and move to another thread.

You better have another coffee & wake up . I have no problem with Frontier . Or SIR . They are not the ones causing the delay .

There are no select grades in this mini shipment because Frontier said there are none . They have listed them as shooter grade only .
Since we have not seen any pictures of what a shooter grade looks like there is nothing to compare with . At the price listed if they are shootable & don`t have cracked stocks I`ll be happy .
They are free to charge what ever they want for them . They said original shipment will be at original price so no complaint here .

I have bought several rifles since this thread started . That doesnt mean I don't want the 2 SKS's I ordered 10 months ago & until the rifles actually arrive & shipped to all the people waiting (including me ) I will be watching & responding to this thread

No offence taken with your post but this is still somewhat of a free country with freedom of speech

relax fellas , i never took #1bc too seriously , its just his normal jabs at the delays.

im not sure what kind of math is being used or the probability , maybe bcos its smaller they went thru them and withheld the collector grade for later shipment , why take a chance with a rarer grade when facing the unknown (election). i dont really know, just my guess .

all i know for sure is that marlin said there are no collector grades in the mini shipment.

what the shooter grade look like? thats a good question. we were told its non-matching but in good condition. this is the interesting part of these russian SKS, i will bet they have all been refurb but how much use they have had since the refurb is unkown, were they loaned to another country or were they used by cadets ? we will find out when they arrive.

Meh, Im relaxed,

#1bcshooter, I was under the impression you had cancelled your order and were just slinging mud at Frontier. If you're still waiting for a rifle I can see your beef, I apologise. I guess I must have gotten you confused with someone else in this massive thread lol.

If we got the rifles right away last year, they would be sitting somewhere, probably forgotten until we go to the range, or camping. The anticipation on these rifles lingers in our minds, for so long now, that when they finally arrive they will always be something special.Nobody has put so much thought and energy into obtaining a gun than us.We make our families proud in our tenacity and determination. No 'ADD' in this bunch.

We should prepare a cross-Canada parade when the rifles arrive at our door. I can see my parade float already. Pulled behind my truck, plenty of russian models wearing camo bikinis and a russian fur hat, with some SKS shooting blank rounds... Mmmm... yesss.......

I can wait for them to arrive.

Arrival will be immediately followed by a thread complaining about rifle condition, shipping times, customer service, etc.

i dont mind alittle beat up as long as its not rusted and barrel worn out , i will be happy pretending it was loan to some third world country and its a war bring back.
