i received this PM from a memeber on friday .

"I called Al Simmons gun shop today and I reserved a Norinco. I payed 199.00 and they took 10% off because I'm picking it up next time I'm down south, so it saves them from shipping it. Can't wait to get it!!

Maybe one of the lurkers from the firearms uber lords (ontario cfo, canadian government etc.) could enlighten us as to when they will stop harrassing our sks's and move on with commerce in our free market country.

Yeah I thought they gave me 10% because I was saving them from shipping it, but I guess they have a 10% off deal on all in-store sales, which would apply to me since I am picking it up, even though I bought it over the phone!

I wonder if frontier/sir could provide the phone number for the people/department responsible for inspecting/registering/approving the SKS's

id phone them at least a few times a day, "are they done yet???" "how about now???"
 
You know what I heard? Everytime someone makes an "are they here/ready yet" post in this thread, the ON CFO adds an extra day to the processing time.
