Russian SKS45 long thread.

Looks like I will be working OT all weekend to cover them. No worries, the weather will be crappy here this weekend anyways and that will leave more space on CCard to buy more.
Did I actually say that? More? Ya, I did.

--- didn,t I hear something about people getting in trouble with these Credit Cards, in the States or somewhere ?? ---- But I doubt it had anything to do with Russian SKS,S :) !!!!

think there is a special tax rebate insentive for buying more SKS's, like there is for home renovations? If I replace my flooring with laminate instead of hardwood like I planned, I have more money to spend on more rifles.....

lol, better stick with putting in good flooring

just got a 1951 tula refurb laminated stock.i think it's non chromed bore, not in the best of shape,1/2 forced matching and painted black everywhere.it's gonna be my shooter as i have a golden bayo IZH unfied one(1956).the 1 I just got is a bell(butchered mag but new s/n is stamped(not e/p) on side)...

No secret here. I just phoned in at Moving Target and told them what I wanted. The guy on the other end told me they have an SKS to my specifications in the next shipment. He asked for my name and phone number so that he'd get back to me about my PAL and credit card.

That is so funny.
I emailed Ed at Moving Target Feb 2 about the exact same criteria. I have my name in for an unissued. He wants a little more for it, but it will be worth it. They are in the midst of having the mags pinned. I sent another email today looking for an ETA.

Really..? Whoever I was talking to didn't say anything about it costing more, so that's too bad, I'm expecting to pay $285.

It is more than the $200 I paid to HH in Yorkton, but if they are as nice as he says, it is worth it. I am paying the $285 to him as well. The only thing we did not confirm is shipping. Did he say what the charge will be?
