Russian VS Chinese SKS

Yup... I have no idea what the difference is.

Ooooo.... One crummy pic of a bubbad unrelated rifle thats nearly identical to a cg63 minus the receiver markings, and I have no idea what I'm talking about. Eh?

Do your research on wood densities, then come smack your gums some more.

Looked like a bubbad CG63 to me. Lol

What you have is a bubba yes...and there are far more differences then markings, actual physical differences.
Danish Schultz & Larsen M69...do some research son! They kicked Swedes CG63 ass in ISSF competition badly, so bad that they contracted S&L to make them barrels.
As for wood hardness, Catalpa rates at 550 on the Janka scale as you probably don't know.

It's SOFTER then spuce ffs

Birch is around 1200 on the Janka scale, more then twice as hard as Catalpa.
Oh, and look what I have growing in my yard...and yes it is soft, garbage wood.

Anything else you would like to be corrected on?

Laff... When your an idiot, best to deflect and change the topic?

Fyi, I'm familiar with the model. Their virtually identical, especially when bubbad.

Its a shame you haven't had a quality chicom preferably from early 26?

I know.. tried to get one years back.. the want list was so massive from the dealer that may of had them.. no luck was had.

Other then the receiver being milled..we had pinned barrels, stamped trigger guards, uneven wood stocks etc...

The irony of the situation is, the chicoms I posted are early specimens that are identical in construction quality to a Russian because.... They were built on russian equipment, supervised by russians, using primarily and (some entirely) of russian supplied components.

Point being. Don't paint chicoms with a wide brush based on some lesser quality imports you seen.

Metal work on Sino-soviet and very early Factory 26 was good, no question there.
Wood was still soft garbage.
I've had Yugo, Chinese, and Russian SKS, my first one ever was an early Chinese Factory 26.
Comparing identical condition rifles (ie unissued) none are as nice or smooth as the Russian rifles are.
