Rust coloration in barrel grooves..

i love wipeout,it's the best, better than other foaming bore cleaners.
do a test, try one type of foaming cleaner then when you think it's clean use wipeout--it will still come out royal blue.

If you are really worried just spray the piston and barrel down with windex at the range and then clean when you get home. I have never used boiling water. Seems like a fuss. But some copper solvent and then hoppes 9 has always done wonders on all my CZs and Ive never had rust that wasnt wipeoffable [ie. gas block].

Why are you cleaning your rifle with boiling water? I would never subject my rifles to unnecessary moisture. If you used boiling water and then oiled it, it's possible you sealed moisture in.... but like others said, it could just be copper fouling.

I've tried just a whole bunch of scrubbing with solvent and numerous solvent soaked patches but the only thing that works for me is windex(or generic window cleaner) to neutralize the salts and boiling water to rinse.I've been noticing copper fouling as well so I think its time for a good copper fouling remover, just have to find some.
