Last year at the same exact time a thread like that popped up and S&J made promises that this year will be better with big projects etc..
Obviously he made a lot of customers happy with the Turkish shoty but missed the biggest point lacking.. customer service.

Bet you its gonna be the same speech this year... i respect Simon but will never do business as long as its like this.

Why are people so resistant to picking up the f'n phone and calling someone to see what's going on?

I think the term is 'ragequit'. This guy waited a month, getting madder and madder (but saying nothing) and then, after sending two emails in one day he (finally) LOST IT!

Ever since then, he's thought of himself as 'the champ'.

I'll also never buy anything from them again. I bought something that they manufactured. I had problems with it. I attempted to contact them many times, asking what I might be doing wrong and not blaming them for what I felt was a defective product. . Never a response.

You better go back and read again. Let me clarify. I sent emails before November 19th regarding the missing extractor. The 19th is when I finally got a reply saying they were hoping to be in the next week. I waited over a week after that and sent more emails asking for an update. This went on until I finally had enough and posted this thread.
And for anyone thinking I'm a millennial I started shooting in the 1960's.

I’ve made multiple orders from S&J over the last 3-4 years, only once was an item not in stock and I was refunded the price of the item within minutes of my order confirmation via email. I’ve always received my orders, which have been processed and mailed quickly. Regardless of anyone’s outcome I’ll happily order from them in the future, their products are top notch.

I dealt with Simon many many times over last 10 or so years, sadly I have to agree, SJ costumer service is not what it used to be. Primarily, emails are not responded too, turtle slow shipping, wrong shipping parts sent, etc.

Hopefully they will improve after reading all the not so flattery comments.

they really have awful service, from wrong parts to wrong shipping times

I've purchased thousands of dollars from stuff @SFRC over the years, they try insanely hard to make the customer happy. They have a great selection of high quality goods and good pricing. Ryan's a good guy from my interactions with him and also his staff.

This isn't about SFRC. Read the thread ffs. This is a dogpile. Sometimes things aren't perfect and you have to be extra patient to get what you want.

You're probably thinking of Andrew at CDN Gunworx.

Ya that guy (his family who also run the store) are brutal. Not too mention they were booted out of a range im a member at cuz of them breaking safety rules and not acting in a safe manner while shooting shooting and being dangerous in action.

I'll never trust my firearm being anywhere where I can not trust the smith

I’m getting very nervous. November24 I bought one of the last grey ghost shotguns from SJ. Great comms throughout the deal. Then nothing for a week. No shipping notice either. I phoned and no answer a couple times. I emailed and got a reply saying that due to Black Friday it got lost in the shuffle. Fair enough. He said it would be shipped last Thursday express post. But!!!!
No tracking, no answer to phone calls and no reply to emails since. I did however get a tracking number late last night after two emails and a unanswered phone call. still today it shows just the label was made. Waiting on a email reply now because I’m getting worried that maybe I’m out 1300$ on the shotgun I bought.

I was straight up lied to by them I purchased a set of uncoated ar500 plates from them shooter (cut curved) when I asked the weigh I was told about 8 pounds per plate ( which is an already very heavy plate for ar500)
Package comes I pick it up and am completely confused it felt very heavy...
pulled them out I have almost half inch thick plates not sure what kind of steel they are made of and the kicker they are 13 lb per god dam plate! I’m a big guy, athletic I work in trades with slabs of granite and marble daily and am one of the heavy lifters around the shop I throw these in my carrier and throw it on it’s not doable, it’s a completely bull#### situation to even have to be in.

I ordered from them and they forgot to throw the shotshell DSC ($60) in my order. They did bill me for it. I made a couple attempts to contact them without response. So i wont do business with them.

This was several months ago now, I'm still hoping they square up with me.

Maybe Simon has some serious health issues again. I remember a year ago, he was dog- piled on this forum, only to find out that he was at death's door in the hospital. Yes, maybe he should have better prepared support staff if this is the case, but he is a small business. I'd have a little faith in him. It's strange that he hasn't shown up.

And childish. Also the suspected of keying someone truck. Because their shotgun they donated wasn't the grand prize at a shoot. That didnt even compete in, just modeled your gear.

Stop with this. Selling out of stock item has what to do with health? Nothing its called fraud.
Wheres my refund Simon?
