S&W 500 5 Shots in a second.

This guy always amazes me.

Not much to say, other than YIKES!! Not a level of speed I'll ever reach.
However, it is fun to shoot and accurate, if you can hang on to it.

I found with any amount of shooting, especially with hot loads and the heavier bullets, it can painful on the hand, even with the rubber hogue grips that it came stock with. The custom Jordan Trooper stocks have made it a little more bearable.

hmm, maybe i should give it a shot :)

cool man. I was gonna buy one but i dont reload and havent seen any factory ammo anywhere.

since i've had the gun i've only bought 2 boxes of hornady 350 XTP ammo (row 10 in the ammo box) both @ $70 tax in. I had to have both boxes ordered in for me from a LGS (rouge river arms). reloading is a MUST for this gun unless your lotto max rich, which i hope to be lol. Using cast bullets i've put 1000 rounds through the gun for the last year when i got it. (.25 per shot, so $250)

i tried to do the same thing with my dads S&W 460V mag...... i got off 3 shots and had a instant headache and i was done.

the 460 and 500 are just ridiculous with the concussion wave they kick out!

agreed, i had a 460V, it rattled my teeth lol. So thats why i think that video is pretty amazing.

He says that he used factory ammo. Is there any proof that those are the full power loads ?

Look at the fireball from them, look at his arms and how slow he fires it (compared to lighter stuff). It's factory ammo no question. But it's not full house loads for the 500 mag.

I doubt too many folks on here could duplicate the same results on target. Keep in mind he is using a 4 inch bbl, not the 8 and 3/8 or 6.5 inch thats available in Canada.

Thats a hell of a gun.
Someday I'll have one for the show. But for now there too much guns and calibers that are higher in the priority list.
