s&w m&p 15 22

i just bought my m&p 15-22 and the mag is not a banana mag hidden inside a full sized ar mag. the mag for this weapon is of original design and work pretty good so far. no problems with it yet in over 600 rounds of federal bulk pack. it shoots consistently at 3 inch groups at 50 yards standing rapid fire. and tighter then 2 inch groups at 75 to 100 yards prone with the factory supplied iron sights. mine was $599 plus tax at a local gun shop here in new brunswick.

My rifle had a rapid fire at 100 rounds. 13 FTF's and at around 250 rounds it blew the extractor claw - this is what I was told it was called - and made a mess of this round. This rifle will be great when the problems are fixed. I still have hope for it yet.

yep, crayons! I was thinking paint might be nicer but its also more permanent, the crayons I can remove if I get tired of it (not likely)

Just use the crayons to fill in the groves of the writing on the rifle, and wipe away the excess.

Doing the dual colour like mine was a bit of a pain in the ass, but it just took extra time and patience, I like the end result

I used some water to clean the excess and then put a flame to it to melt it a bit, then wiped it with oil.

newest add on:

went to jo brook for extra mags, left with a brick of stingers and a bear spray belt holder
the holder stores 2mags nicely on my hip and the stingers ......... hard to find the mags will be there next week

where is a good place for barrel threading in the vancouver area? im planning to get mine done when i receive it.
 
I just bought one of these yesterday at P&D, $550. CFO was closed, hopefully I can grab it tomorrow or Tuesday. I went in planning to grab an SR-22 but they were sold out, so I looked at some other options. At first the fact it was restricted put me off but after handling it I had to get it. Hoping to have it home tomorrow or tuesday and hit the range.

i was wondering what type of new grip would fit on the m&p 15-22. i took mine out on the weekend and put another 500 rounds through it and i am not liking the stock pistol grip on it. any opinions? so far i am loving the rifle, i have over 1000 rounds through mine with absolutely zero fail to fire, fail to feed, or fail to eject's. it has run like a dream!

lucky you, i got mine about a week ago, took it out today two fail to feeds (probably magazine issue) and extractor blow out, not to mention my hearing.. was about 80 rounds in. federal 550 pack.. serial # DTM5**
