I regret selling my 1006 so much. I was young and needed rent money. Sure the trigger was garbage but it was an absolute tank. The 1006 and Glock 20/40 are probably the most durable 10mms out there.

I was referring to DA but I wasn't clear, my bad. I had target sights on mine, gun looked amazing. I often think of contacting the user I sold it to but I figure there is no way he'd let it go.
That is a classic 10mm for sure. They are robust but I agree they are not particularly refined - in terms of the trigger or fit and finish. Not a fan of stock plastic grips either. If they still made parts, they would make nice woods guns if you didn't want a Glock. More collectors than shooters these days.
I want one quite bad, How is the 1066 in comparison? I know its got a smidge shorter slide, same tank like build to it?
