S&W Pistol carbine legalities?

Both of those actually look quite interesting. I think I am more interested in having the non-restricted revolver, as to an actual rifle chambered for those rounds. I have come up with a solution to the cylinder gap :D, well not a good one, i will simply just have to hold it as if i were firing any normal revolver, except for the stock on it. Similar to how you would hold one of those glocks with that plastic stock attached to it.

I think it is more the novelty factor than shooting factor.

That is a perfect picture portraying what i want, and the shooting position i was attempting to describe. Thanks SCDL, although i am unsure of the barrel length i will have to use.
