People profit in the trade of "collectables" and "covet" those same collectables? Covet...as in admire or cherish?

You can google search Nazi collections and it pulls up all kinds of sick #### that we don't need on a Canadian Gun Forum.

Walls in People s homes and Restaurants full of pictures of Hitler, other high ranking Nazi's, anti-Semitism posters, SS recruitment posters, Nazi Flags, War pins, dinner ware, Christmas decorations with Swastika??

To the other poster that brought up Dresden and other such " atrocities " commited by the Allies.

The German people bought into the Nazi "Nationalist" Propaganda.

They attended the massive rallies, burnt the books, looted the Jews homes and stores.

Spit on the Jews, kicked them in the face, attacked, beat and killed their fellow citizens because someone said they are sub-human? ....and blamed them for Germanies hardships?

The German people KNEW Jews were being rounded up and exterminated.

The German people were NOT innocents.

They put there faith in a physcopathic regime and you reap what you sew.

Dealers making money off the stuff , there’s always profiteering. It’ll never stop. Crying about it certainly won’t stop it. I have lots of Nazi guns. I don’t have a flag flying out front, or hanging on a wall, I don’t have medals or pins, or posters, so give it a rest and move on.m

Just a little reminder of this thing called FACT. In the last election of the Weimar Republic, the Nazi's won 196 seats representing 33.1% of the popular vote. This would be about a similar outcome to the last election we had in October 2019 with Trudeau getting about the same % of the popular vote. With this base, Hitler SEIZED power, quasi-legally but this is not something that was put to popular referendum besides the election.

So by your logic the majority of this great country supports Trudeau? What do you think would happen if the Gropenfuhrer Trudeau seized power, confiscated weapons, and people started disappearing and not coming back? Do you really think most people would not fall into line?

Do you have any idea what it was like to live in the 3rd Reich? I have a pretty good imagination but a whole branch of my family in fact did live in the 3rd Reich, after Hitler took control of Danzig back. You know what they got for it? Their city razed to the ground, and expelled never to return.

Maybe the real problem with you is that you simply hate all Germans. Civilians and ordinary soldiers alike - I mean they are all guilty of genocide.:rolleyes: Instead of having the last word, maybe you should apologize for hi-jacking this thread and consider that you have said more than enough on the subject. Going back to the dagger. Peter, I asked a friend and he says, the NM is the region, perhaps Naumberg, and then the number could be his seniority out of total area membership or something similar. The dagger may not be mint but the region and number make it interesting.

It seems to me that these are not items being collected to be worshipped over, but to have a piece of interesting history.
The spoils of war go to the victor. So you take Hitler and his dedicated followers, look at what they done. So when we fight back against aggression and become victorious, damned right someone going to say “f## yeah!, look what I got from those sumbit€he$”
Russians spent a great deal of effort collecting German equipment to take home after the war.

Oh BTW, I have a nice example of the SA dagger, and also a very nice example of a German pilots dagger.
Which are tucked away. They are not on a pedestal surrounded by lit candles and incense.
 
How do you know it was an Einsatzgruppen PPK? They were just standard PPK's and only a single document accounts for ~6% of PPK's shipped to them via serial number ranges. Are you sure you're not talking about an NSDAP Party Leader PPK?

I don’t know whether it was or wasn’t. Was going by the post.
I recalled that it was as I hadn’t heard of the Einsatzgruppen before and had to look it up. I’m not a milsurp collector of any kind. I tried looking for the post going back 3 years on the Search function here but found nothing so the post may actually be older than that.

Maybe another member can remember if I was right or mistaken.

It was a NSDAP pistol IIRC anything of the Einsatzgruppen would be extremely rare as they were a fairly small group
