Sad day for Nikon Scopes...

Brutal!.....:( I have nothing but great luck with Nikon scopes. They are just as clear or even better than my Leupold scopes.

Normally less expensive to buy as well, very sad day for sure!.....:(
 
Damn.. I switched everything to Nikon...and am out of gun money to stock up..
Never had an issue, great glass for the money.My DSLR choice has been Nikon for years too.
Sad to hear this.

You guys always had the deals though, and stock.
I always picked nikon because they seemed to have the most forgiving eye relief and eye box in the price range

That is correct....Fieldscopes will also carry on. Actually more than carry on, extensive R&D will be poured into Binoculars, Fieldscopes and Laser Rangefinders.
 
I hope the warranty voucher (if needed) is straight cash and not credit for nikon products. I won't be buying anything they make from here on out if they want to pull this move with the scopes.

Too bad, I also really like my nikons.

They compete with the cheaper Chinese and other countries, bet it's the higher price from Japan causing the change
