Sad months for my Lucid HD7

I guess it is like other optics in this kind of class, like Falcon and Millet scopes, they generally work very well and people like them, but there will always be like 5% of customers who end up with a lemon.
 
Purchased in December of 2011. Happy with the product but one day it would not turn on.

Changed batteries twice to fresh batteries... no dice.

Was referred to Defense group optics for warranty replacement from Lucid. Sent it in and arrived at its destination mid December... Now I am still waiting...

Sad months... It's frustrating because I've e-mailed which I receive no replies. I've phoned in January and was told it was forgotten about and will be shipped.
Phoned in February and was told it was at the doorstep to be picked up.
Phoned In late Feb, March and now getting no answers or call backs.

I guess having too much patience and not being aggressive enough is the issue.

Anways.... Sad months.
Lucid... Your product is great. Your warranty in Canada is lackluster.

It's a good thing my O/U and my two toddlers are keeping me busy for me to not be too distressed about this warranty nightmare.


Anyone else have any experience with Lucid for warranty? Did I just fall through the cracks?

I believe DefGroup is no longer the Cad Distr of Lucid. Try Ryan @ SFRC
 
Me too, no issues, works great. Not my favorite optic, due to it's size, for have no magnification, but like people who hate glocks and mini-14's, but never owned one, rumours persist.

Not even close to a fair comparison. Mini14's are sh*t, its a proven fact. Glocks, are reliable and boring, it too is a proven fact. Lucid optics are aesthetic wannabe ACOGs that are nothing more than poorly made reddots.
