Take the trigger group out and try, see if you can see if it is binding anywhere. It has to be cocked too.
You are putting the safety on when the rifle is cocked? Safety won't engage unless the rifle is cocked - as I found out in a panic.
Yes, I am racking the bolt but the safety won't engage
Please stop posting bad stuff about this rifle I really want to buy one and all you guys are
just making me nervous as heck and forcing me to seriously consider buying a 3000 dollar
rifle made in Chile that I have no right to be spending so much money on. Suck it up and
keep it to yourself please, Be a Man and deal with it.
He's having a safety issue with his rifle, and your advice is to suck it up and deal with it? Am I missing something??
Hmm, yes, Ghost, perhaps you are in need of a club. Or at least a trip to Shooters on a Friday night.
Thanks ConteShooters Den, I'm sure you heard of it. Friday evenings is when all the old guys hang out there. I'm sure we can figure out what's going on.
I'll be there, and I know the M305, have one myself, I've detailed the trigger group before, so I know my way around it.
