Sage EBR Question

Do I need a M14 Stripper Clip Sight Base with Picitanny Rail in order to use a Sage Cantilevered Scope Mount on a Norinco M305 Short Rifle with a Sage Stock System??? (example below)

No, the Sage mount will come with that part if it needs it. That isn't a sage mount in that photo though.....Sage stripper-guide mount, but the optic "bridge" looks like an A.R.M.S. unit.

If you buy the mount in your photo, then yes, you would have to find a sage stripper-clip mount......and good luck with that. Have you ever just considered buying a AR-15 cantilever mount and running it in reverse? Lots of guys go that route, and it's easier and cheaper to get that type of mount.

FabSports if I buy that rail that you linked for a red dot. Would it be a co-witness with a red dot? Or can I place the rail higher so that I can clear my irons?

Hey Joey, I thougt you didn't like the cowitness concept?! :p

A fastfire is too high to cowitness, I don't know for an Aimpoint micro.
I'm not sure I understand your last question but the rail is not adjustable. With nothing on the rail, you can use your iron sights.
