It's weird with me. Some shotguns and rifles with 'classic' stocks just come up and mount butt to shoulder, eye to scope. Others I wind up with the toe of the stock in my shoulder and have to readjust. The Monte Carlos would fix that particular error. I prefer the Anschutz Monte Carlo because of this. However, Win Featherweights mount just fine.
But the Sako Hunter stock supposedly puts heel in right place while giving a cheek rest at scope-appropriate heights and the slant of the comb directs the cheek rest away under recoil...
