No one showed one yet, so I thought I should post infos on these little known treasures.
The first centerfire large action used by Sako were the FN actions. Sako built barreled actions and complete rifles for many "manufacturers", such as Weatherby. They also made one of finest adjustable trigger ever made to fit a Mauser action.
At first, they used the standard "commercial" action, with bolt shroud mounted safety, then, around '56, they started using the Supreme (the one below is made on a Supreme).
Production started in 1951 with S/N 100001 and ended up in '60, but in fact, they continued to sell the ramaining stock even after the introduction of their own L61R in 1962.
