Well it's already begun. I'm waiting for the transfer on my Ruger MK III and I'm already playing the "What do I want next??" game. I knew handguns would be like eating chips. Better had by the handful.
I'd like a .45 but my wallet screams every time I think about it. So 9mm it is. I'm researching a bunch of options. I'd love a 1911 because I've always wanted one. And I keep looking at the SAM Sigma 9. Just wondering if anyone here can chime in with their experience with one. Most reviews on other SAM 1911s are positive for the most part. But I can't find any reviews on the Sigma 9. It looks to me like a 4" bushingless 1911 with the Canadian legal barrel on it. Also wondering if the recoil springs on a bushingless 1911 are different than the normal springs or regular Commander springs work ok.
And I know the standard answer to the 9mm 1911 question is "Buy a Spartan." But that's not in my budget. My local dealer has a couple of Norc NP29s but I'm leery of them after a couple of recent threads here on CGN.
