SAP6 Shotgun Back in Stock!!! 11 ROUND MAGS & Extended Barrels Now Available!!!

I also had significant problems with my KSG. I had frequent (1 in 4 rounds roughly) failures to extract. There were also numerous times where the feed ramp would impact the back of the shot shell and fail to chamber. I returned the unit for repairs and it came back to me in just about the same condition that I sent it out in. Needless to say, the gun went back to the vendor for a refund. Now I'm looking at this particular gun as a replacement.

Just like everyone else here, I would like to see some pics or at a minimum get some dimensions on the 11 round mags so I know what I'd be getting into.

Can you not stack up 11 shells, measure it and add a bit for the spring and follower? I know it won't be exact but it will give you a rough idea of the size if it is single stack.

You could do that, but I was personally more curious if the mag was going to be a double stack, similar to what is shown at the link below. http://www.brownells.com/userdocs/products/p_152000096_1.jpg.

If it was announced that it would be single stack, I've clearly missed that post. Either way, it looks like we will have photos soon enough.

Agreed - a double-stack would be ideal for 11 shotshells. Otherwise that mag's gonna be loooooooooooooooooong.

(or a drum of course, but for the aforementioned pumping of the forearm)

Hey Tactical imports,

I've seen a video review where the guy shows that you can't lock the action open due to the spring assist on the pump. Is it easy to remove this spring to allow the action to be opened and left open? Or would is the spring an integral part of the mechanism?

Thanks,
B

I paid 2 weeks ago. Still nothing. They never even bothered to respond to my most recent email. To make matters worse I live less than 20 km away from their location ...

What sort of issues did you encounter

My KSG did run great mostly. 90% of the time I could cycle 15 slugs through flawlessly more times than my shoulder could handle.

But, it seemed that whenever I had it out with a guest shooter it would misfeed and then jam when they used it despite advising not to short shuck. Which would embarrass me. It's really hard to get the shell out it once misfeeds too. You almost have to take it apart every time. Even seasoned shot gunners encountered problems with mine. So ... in my personal experience it was a very fun gun but I would not count on it in a pinch. 90% it a good grade on a final exam but who like those odds in a competition or home defense situation. It's an expensive toy ...
