The way it looks, we (Mr. & Mrs.) have to leave from home on the 11th. We may stay a day or two longer before taking another 2 days drive home.
I'm still hoping to fit all the gear in my wife's car to save on gas (and spend more money on ammo :D). Otherwise, I'll drive my van. I'll let you guys know on time.
If nobody brings a guitar, I won't either. :D

I'm interested, I'm on vacation june 9-13 but am already attending an event on the 7th in eastern Ontario so the budget may not be there for a 2nd trip the same week. Even <if> I make it in I could only attend on friday and would need to be on the road by saturday mid-day for the drive back.

Ok I made the call.....

Its a GO!!! :dancingbanana: :ar15:

My cousin is already excited to have a bit of fun, and is agreed to help out quite a bit with setting everything up :)

So on March 15th I am gonna run out there and see what needs to be done, and talk to a few landowners....

I am thinking it might be in our best interests to have some kind of landowner consent form?? This way they can sign it and put in any stipulations that they might have concerning the use of their land. Anybody already have one I can modify?? That'd be alot easier than drafting one up....

Way to go! I was thinking as well about a two way form. For both shooters and landowners. Kind of a hall pass if you will, if anyone gets hassled by fish cops or mounties. We would have a list of everyone who has access to whos land, and to keep our butts safe from someone shooting themselves in the foot! :p

If your going to make it a go on the 15'th I'll do what I can to make it as well. But I really don't think we need much in the way of setting up. All I see is an area clear enough for the group to set up tents or park their campers. If there are no toilets available, we could dig a pit behind the tree's, or everyone bring a bucket. We will only be there for 2 nights, so we do not need a campground. If we have a base camp, that's good enough. A firepit dug out would also be nice, so I'll bring my shovel, provided the ground out there isn't still froze.

Cuz is gonna check the status of the outhouses....he says they are still up there, but he isnt sure of the condition.

He has a fire ring that he is gonna drag down for us.

There will be lots of room for everybody :)

Im not gonna go all out and build a world class campground, but I am gonna make sure it will be adequate and suitable for our use :)

All Im really gonna do for setting up is make sure there is a decent firepit, outhouses, get some firewood cut, and might cut some grass....

Keep in mind everyone who is going to go: This is PRIMITIVE camping. There is no running water or showers, or bathroom even!! :D :D

Bring your own water!!

There will be outhouses tho, but bring your own a**wipe!! :D

Oh ya, main reason I am going to go down there in the 15th is to check on the condition of the camping area, and talk to some land owners..

My cuz has already volunteered to talk to at least one landowner there...one of the biggest ones!!

More concerned with anybody bringing and RV's

Got room for em, thats no problem!! Only problem is the power hook up if it was wanted....I can swing it, but might need to chip in a few bucks to the nice lady who is letting us use her land to camp on for the power ;)

I'm sure nobody expects power or sewage to be available, so don't worry about arranging it. RV's are self suffianct anyways. I'm sure everyone can stay low profile and survive without hairdryers and washing machines for two days. :D

How close is the local Timmy of Rotten Ronnie's ? As long as it's close enough to go take a crap in, I don't really have a problem with that.

I count 18 folks now who are "Confirmed" so I am going to keep tabs on those names. With families, I'm sure we'll break our 30 person limit. I think how we will do this is anybody that wants in can let us know. But those who replied and RSVP'd so to speak will have first crack at it. We cannot have a hundred people running around. Those who are in will recieve directions and a map to the location. If anyone cancels, we will send the same invite to the next in line an so fourth. This thread has been up plenty long now, so I'm sure there won't be too many more interested anyways. I think it's fair that way. I know alot of those who are 'confirmed' will back out. That's fine, just give us some warning so others may get the chance. A it stands, I think there is room for everyone who may come, but try to understand where we sit with this. The names I have so far are:

Single shooters:
Bull's-Eye, Holleyman, pr-marksmen, Red Baron, sealhunter, stubblejumper, sv7772, TheFrenchCanadian, tkv000, tripalm

Shooter and spouse:
pharaoh2, rustysdream, stevesummit

Shooter with family:
6MM, albertacoyotecaller, fatbastard, gpare, Wildbore Captain_2k

*Possibilities:*
blackball, Cinch, dusty61, Gerald, hawk223, kevin.303, muskog, shimmer, soldier506, tangospike99, teenahlake, the_big_mike, whammy, Rob Smith

While preference will be given to those on this list of possibilities, I know some responses are not realistic. Your name is down first, that's good. If any others are interested, let us know and we will keep you posted as we get closer to the weekend of the shoot. Thanks for your understanding.
