Sasquatch tracker sues B.C. govt.

Update: California Sasquatch lawsuit filed

"An Alberta man is part of a group of people petitioning a California court to recognize the existence of the sasquatch."

"A lawsuit was filed with the State of California on Thursday. Todd Standing, who is originally from Edmonton and studied at the University of Alberta, said he intends on bringing forward “overwhelming” evidence to prove the sasquatch is indeed a species and that it exists in the wild in California.

Standing’s American colleagues have a hearing date set in California on March 19, 2018. The Alberta researcher is working on similar legal action in B.C. and Alberta."

Apparently no response yet from the BC government on the lawsuit filed by Todd Standing back in October 2017.

I have never experienced anything personally, but I will relate my mother in laws story. The circumstances are not usual, and though she passed last year, she always swore this happened,,,she was an old school lady, very proper, never cursed, and was an increadible artist, and a student of human form and specialized in portraits, so she had an astounding grasp of detail and depth.
In 2010, she was living in White Rock BC, and would have been around 63years old. She had been visiting an artist friend in Langley BC for coffee , and left to head home around 11pm. She was heading south on 200th st in Langley, on her way home to White Rock. Now this is a rural area, but more rolling farm fields and small forested areas, not the usual mountainous terrain that one would associate with a normal sighting, and not more than 10 minutes outside of Langley itself. As she was approaching 16th ave, she caught a figure ahead of her step out of a farm field into the glare of her headlights, walk across the road and step over a fence into
another field. She said that although she had never believed in Sasquatch, she knew exactly what she was looking at immediately without a doubt. She estimated its hight at over 6ft, but said it was hard to be exact, as it was dragging one leg as if it had been injured, and hunched over to compensate possibly. She said she had the distinct impression when it looked towards her that it was young, and she estimated she was within 20 yards of it before it crossed the road out of her sight.
She phoned my wife the next morning and I talked to her, she had absolutely no doubt what she saw, but was very worried about talking to anyone about it other than us.
To this day, I have no idea why one of the most honest humans I have ever met would make up a story about a Sasquatch in South Langley,,it would make no sense. I believed her then and though she has passed, I have no doubt she was telling the truth.

Too close to Surrey, never know what comes out of that hole.

There are places in Canada where no person has walked. The book "Alone Against the North" is a story about a bullheaded canoeist who found an unmapped river in this millenium. It is along the Ontario / Quebec border near James Bay. He has several very wise observations on exploration which should remind all of us smug urban dwellers just how isolated we really are. He got his PhD out of the discovery. Was declared Explorer of the Year by the Canadian Geographic Society and sold a lot books.

I've never seen any sign of a bigfoot but have seen enough strange things in the woods that they would lock me up if went around talking about them so I don't discount much anymore.

^^
Yes I hear you.

I get that something can be incredibly elusive and near impossible to spot while alive, but how come no one has ever found a dead one? They wouldn't be elusive at all, With all the hunting, trapping, hiking, prospecting and mining etc. why would no one have found a carcass, or a pile of bones? Fossil evidence, frozen remains..?

Every other species is found dead all the time. How the sasquatch has hidden every one of its dead for 100s of years defies logic more than, well, the fact that they even exist at all.

The truth is here...

I've never found a dead wolf, cougar, wolverine, or bear in the bush, but I know they're out there. If Sasquatch buries their dead (or eats them I guess) they would be damn near impossible to find.

I will believe in bigfoot when I actually see it...in person. I wont waste my time telling anyone, noone believes this stuff anyways. Same with the little green alien dudes...seeing is believing...im in no rush.

I'm kinda joking but I'm not. Mt goats, elk, moose, grizzly bears and wolves .... all inhabit the same mt ranges that surround the fraser valley but are extremely rarely sighted by humans who inhabit and recreate on the crown land in the region.

Unless you work in a helicopter everyday in which case you see them with boring regularity.

You likely won't find too many dead anything in woods unless it was hunted, run over, etc. You might stumble across a bear devouring a carcass of something that it killed if you are in the right/wrong place. Nature takes care of itself.
