Sasquatch tracker sues B.C. govt.

Update: BC government responds

"The government’s response, filed Jan. 25 at the New Westminster registry, denies Standing’s version of the alleged facts and “denies that the plaintiff suffered or continues to suffer any loss, damage or expense as alleged in the notice of civil claim.”

Next step -

"A judge will assess the case and determine if it can proceed to trial."

“I can’t imagine a judge saying it’s frivolous,” he said. “Imagine multiple professors and scientists talking definitively about what they know. The truth is going to come out.” :)

"An Alberta man is part of a group of people petitioning a California court to recognize the existence of the sasquatch."

"A lawsuit was filed with the State of California on Thursday. Todd Standing, who is originally from Edmonton and studied at the University of Alberta, said he intends on bringing forward “overwhelming” evidence to prove the sasquatch is indeed a species and that it exists in the wild in California.

Standing’s American colleagues have a hearing date set in California on March 19, 2018. The Alberta researcher is working on similar legal action in B.C. and Alberta."

Apparently no response yet from the BC government on the lawsuit filed by Todd Standing back in October 2017.

Apparently some issues with the California Sasquatch lawsuit in regard to court rules. The plaintiff has withdrawn the lawsuit but plans to re-file it.

No update yet on the BC case. The government responded on Jan. 25 2018 and denies the alleged facts. But a judge still has to decide if the court will hear the case.
