"A self-proclaimed sasquatch tracker is suing the B.C. government in the hopes of proving once and for all that the elusive forest-dwelling ape-men of folklore are real.

Todd Standing's lawsuit claims the province, in refusing to recognize the existence of sasquatches, is shirking its duty to manage the wildlife living within its borders.

"It blows my mind this species has not been acknowledged yet," Standing told CTV News..."

They can't legitimately manage the grizzly population and he expects them to manage sasquatches???
 
Exactly. Needs to be addressed sooner rather than later by the Ecosystems Branch of the Ministry of Forest, Lands and Natural Resource Operations before it's too late. Too much complacency on this important matter.

Countless photos and that ^^^^^ is the only one that is ever shown? ;-)
 
Bear in mind these aren't a regulated species just yet so no permit required to hunt down these formidable beasts. Once regulated expect only a very limited number of tags to be issued. So have at it while the gettin's still good!

I think a 2 year properly executed study of the entire chilliwack and skagit valleys would be enough to finally once and for all put this to bed or prove what some of us think could be out there.
I'm not a raving sasquatch believer but I am one who has seen something close up that I can't explain without people thinking I'm nuts. I've spent thousands and thousands of man hours , fishing, hunting, hiking up in those mountains and valleys since I was old enough to drive. Two incidences , years apart but in the same general area have left me scratching my head for well over 2 decades now.
I won't get into it here but I do think that setting up 100's if not a couple thousand trail cams and infared cams in the passes between the mount baker region, chillwack valley and skagit valley, and let them collect data for a year or 2..... I think we "will" see something that surprises a lot of people....

being serious about this for a moment though..... as a hunter, the last thing on my mind if i do see one of these creatures in the flesh is putting a bullet in it.... I never understood people thinking that way. I doubt they taste good anyways
 
Too many naysayers. Dead or alive, palpable evidence is needed to finally resolve the mystery. For their continued survival, Sasquatches need to be given proper consideration within our ecosystem.

I don't know how I hadn't realized this. Well that's me booked off for the foreseeable future. Got some hunting to do folks. I'll post pictures once successful.

Where is your spirit of adventure? Who was the first person to eat so many of the delicacies of the world and find out that, despite appearances, they are in fact delicious. Braised bigfoot toes on a bed of garlic smashed 'taters, pickled Sasquatch gizzard and gibblets, rare roasted abominable tongue... You aren't trying hard enough if you can't imagine the possibilities.
 
I think if you eat some of those forest mushrooms, the sasqwatch magically comeout from hiding ! they dont like u eating their psychodelic snacks

People on dmt are suppose to see elves n pixies, that maybe sbject for another lawsuit to protect the wee people ?
