That's a neat one, commercial sporterization of one of the early Finnish cavalry carbines. Could be one of the first Sako sporting guns?

That poor thing is a bubba abortion of the highest degree. The only thing worse in my experience was a guy carrying around a poor old 94 Winchester that had welded on sights, plus he told me he had heat treated it three times. It looked like it.
There are SAT barrels for Mausers too, I completely agree its been bubba'd however it could have started life as something a bit more... noble.
I would love to see some documentaion or history or anything regarding SAT barrels for Mausers.
Edit: Seriously, I would like to know more!
