Savage 10-FCPK .308 ( MDT LSS Chassis system build )

Hey Dilligaf,

I own the same riffle and i got one question for you...
How good is glued your buttpad ???
From 0 to 10 i would say mine 2 or 3...
I will have to do something in the near future :p !!!
Otherwise its the only downside of the gun.
Amazing riffle for the price.

Hey Dilligaf,

My Viper PST never came with flip caps either. I called Vortex USA about it and they sent me some new ones out for free in the mail. They were going to send me the elastic ones but I asked politely if they could send me the flip cap ones and they said sure, no problem. 1 Week later I got them in the mail.

Give it a shot, just be super friendly, explain how you were a little disappointed that you didn't get any but that you still love the product very much, and I'm sure they'll hook you up. Just ask for customer service.

Nice rig BTW, Congrats

I allready ordered a set from OST.... But thats cool they did that...

But for the ammount of money these scope cost they should be included...

Well I took it out hunting... Got a nice ding on the scope and a few scraches on the stock...

I counted 179 paces... Looked to me around 125 Yards away... I took my Hunter safety course 2 weeks ago and This is my 1st deer...

Now were can I find a chart that could help me with how many clicks I need to set my scope for that range...

Go to the Vortex Canada website and click on the LRBC logo at the bottom of the page. You can set up an account almost instantly and then input all your rifle and load info and it will calculate a drop chart for you. You can even select the reticle you have on your PST scope and it will give you calculated yardages and windage corrections for the reticle subtensions. I did that with mine, and while the "calculated" values were not perfect, they were very close, I was then able to go back on the LRBC with the true corrected values and input the changes and then print out a perfect drop chart. Awesome!
