I like Quick Detach rings... I use el-cheapo UTGs on my smaller-calibre rifles, but for this, I'll be getting Leupold QRW. The big thing about quick release is: because you're not going to be able to apply as much side-clamping force as permanent rings, you have to ensure the rings have a square crossbar, to lock in to the rail. Then, the quick release is only to stabilize the mounts. For the same reason, I like the Burris PEPR mount for the carbine.
What does the Burris ZE have underneath? The look "heavy duty", compared to the Leupolds... If i could hand tighten, like the QRW... Underneath, you'd want a square crossbar (best) - the half-bolt will just chew up the rail under recoil.
