You are a poet man.

If you handload it's not all that expensive. dan
Yeah and a guy could use a light, sub 100 gr powder charge.![]()
I agree, my cost calcs are;
280$ for 100 pc lapua brass
84$ for 100 300 gr scenar's
28.13$ per pound of Retumbo (bought in bulk)
37$ for 1000 CCI LRM primers.
Assuming I get 10 reloads per case and use a 93 gr load(reasonable I think?) my cost per shot is;
(280/1000)=0.28
(84/100)= 0.84
(37/1000)= .037
(28.13/7000)*93)= 0.38
Total= $1.537 per shot. Not crazy, not cheap.
Boomer where did you get your prices? I may need to order some supplies where you doMy stuff is just internet prices for things in canada, no deals.
where are you getting the MK's, WSS has them, but they want more then I can get Scenars for. I will try the MK's also if they are a bit cheaper, as I have had great luck with Sierra products.
I bit the bullet and ordered a Savage 110 BA, its funny, I think I prefer the looks of the remington the most, and the AR the next, but I love the Savage trigger, it has a good break from the factory, a 26" 1 in 9 barrel, and a 20 moa rail. So I will give it a whirl. I sure hope its as accurate as another member's on here (1" group at 300 yrds)
I want to strip all the stupid un-needed rails off of it though and make it look a little nicer. Does anyone know if a regular savage 110 rail will fit these?
The gun is on pre-order status (looks like after I ordered mine they took it off the site even) and won't be here for a few weeks but oh-well... My brass and dies are a week or two out in the mail anyways.
Thanks for the help guys, when I get her set up I will add some pics.
A brake doesn't cost much either. - dan
