I had a 110BA in 300wm, the brake and weight was effective enough that I could spot my own hits at 500m. I would agree with the above that you aren't going to want to pack it, ever, as I tried this once on an elk hunt in the foothills of AB. I shot mine to as far as 1 mile with very satisfying results. It was reliably sub moa (like .75moa with 190 SMK's over retumbo) and the factory throat was nice and long so seating 208 amax's and 210 bergers to the lands gave lots of case capacity AND still mag fed as the mag is super long.
Its a nice rifle with some good features for prone or bench shooting, but even I would think awfully hard about the benefits of the tank like chassis if I was to go that route again, For the price difference I think there is good value in the HS precision FCP rifle.
