Savage B22 precision

Bullseye does in fact have them. I was looking at them yesterday. I wanted the semi auto version but after handling it i decided to pass
I have 3 mdt chassises currently but im not a fan of this new style chassis. It works and im sure many will love it but it just felt cheap. Maybe i was just expecting more. The fit and finish was well executed. The comb height adjustments were easy and simple.
I much prefer the lss chassis

Cabelas advertised them as well but id support bullseye first

If you do get one plz post a review
 
I did end up ordering from Bullseye last night, cheaper than Cabela's and always prefer to support Bullseye.
Once I receive it and get to the range I will give a quick review for sure.
 
Finally got a picture. I have never held any other chassis before so I really have nothing to compare to. I can only imagine compared to the LSS chassis this one would feel cheap, but I am liking it. Hoping to get to the range this weekend to see how it does.

That is one slick looking machine. The position of the safety looks a little awkward though. I got a regular B22, really curious how well the chassis improvements accuracy. Keep us posted.
 
So went to the range for a quick try today. It was -16 (windchill of -26) so I didn’t have high hopes and I only shot at 25 yards.
I am not by any means a good shot but this rifle is a pleasure to shoot. The accu trigger is adjusted down as light as it can go (supposed to be around 1.5 pounds but I don’t have a way to check) it is definitely lighter than my savage 93 17hmr. Got about 100 rounds through it and then called it quits. The picture is the best groupings I got so far, this was with Federal value pack ammo (the blue box 525 rounds) 36 grain. The .68 grouping was CCI AR tactical ammo and just me being not a good shot. Looking forward to testing this with different ammo types when it warms up a bit.
 
Forgot to add, the safety is a bit awkward. Wish they had made the sides a bit lower to make it easier to get at but I was still able to flick it on and off quickly enough once I figured it out.
 
What are you using for an optic?
CCI SV works nice in my RPR, Federal not so well.
There's a place in Ottawa, Tesro Inc. site sponsor too, that does sampler packs of quality ammo.
Going to give that a try when the weather gets a bit warmer.

Scope is a Nikko Stirling Diamond Long Range 4-16x50, so far I am liking this scope. It is the first Nikko I have used.
I have been looking around at some of the sample packs and will be ordering some for sure. CCI SV is something I have been trying to find locally but no luck yet, so that might also just be ordered online.

Canadian Tire in Brandon has standard velocity.
 
I love the look aside from the buttstock. Looks like that’s where they cut costs to keep the MSRP down. Worth a look if they can start with sub-MOA @ 50 but we’ll have to wait and see.
 
So turns out I measured the groups wrong, I have updated it now. I failed to subtract the bullet diameter when measuring edge to edge. At 25 yards.

Got to shoot at 50 yards today finally. Was a bit rushed so the results could be better if I took more time. Got 15 groups of 5 done, average size was .6 of inch. Best was .27, 2nd and 3rd both .34. Best groups all shot with CCI standard velocity.
Still zero issues with the rifle.
