Savage bolt lift kit

I googled exactly the same, absolutely squat!........:(
If your Savage rifle requires a lot of effort to #### and close the bolt, our Savage Bolt Lift Kit, by Desh Industries, will reduce that effort considerably. This Bolt Lift kit uses a special thrust bearing and a spacer for the BAS screw. “ “ * Addition of this kit reduces the friction and reduces the bolt lift by 20% to 30%, or in some cases as much as 50%.* “

lmffao ! Tam beat you again and your Bitter at everyone ! lol RJ
Savage rifles are great firearms, I'm not sure why people don't like Savage guns. They are accurate, they look good and are reliable. Not to mention the great customer service we received from Savage Canada.

When I ran my gun shop, in those four years, I sold five Savage rifles to every one Browning, Tikka, Winchester or Remington brand rifles. Now keeping in mind a lot of Savage guns are a little less money than those other popular brands. But Savage guns moved very well and were awesome rifles indeed.

Guns are personal choice, just like vehicles, UTV's, ATV's, RV's or boats. There are lemons in every brand or manufacturer, unfortunately......:(

Bolt lift is one thing. Bolt lugs are another. I don't think there is a way to overcome the geometry of two big opposing lugs. Thirty-hundred and sixty divided by four is always ninety.

Your math is spot on my friend. So I wonder why Savage can make a ridiculous straight back bolt pull (Impulse Models), but not a receiver with three lugs and a 60 degree bolt lift?

Well, they sell that straight pull version. Haven't tried one yet myself though. - dan
It's difficult to wrap ones head around, I do not like a straight pull rifle. And I'm certain after one has been cycling bolts for over 45 years by lifting and pulling back, in an emergency it may screw up ones mojo, so to speak!....:) LOL

He’s assured us it’s on Google. I’m just waiting to see.
Knew it was BS from the start and just the reduced resistance kit

I've owned a couple of Ross straight pulls, still have a 280 Sporter. Also used a friend's Blaser one hunt overseas. I didn't find it too hard to switch. - dan

They missed a word, see if you lived in the land of the free, you'd be able to sue them for a couple million bucks and win, but sadly, you're in canada and you just have to tollerate stupid people and suck it up. The air must be really thin in the loop's today if this is all it took to get a knot in your panties.........

set up a silhouette match already would ya................

I’ve solved that issue already. I’m here for the 60° kit now
Unfortunately you will be waiting for a while. This imaginary kit does not exist. I've watched a few videos on this kit, it reduces friction, that's it. No change to the 90 degrees it takes to lift the bolt, sorry!
