Yes. I've been playing around with 88 gr Hornady bullets, already have a good load with 80 gr. I need to find some 90 gr bullets as well, in 22. Should make a great LR coyote rifle. - danThose Clark's are screamers!!

Yes, though I haven't actually measured the angle to verify. It's my second one of those, I've also had an rcbs version, and a 30 Gibbs. Gibbs gives you the most gain in case capacity. - danHow is the 30-06 Improved? 40°?
So what FPS you shooting ? What bullet ? What barrel lenght ? I’m interestedYes, though I haven't actually measured the angle to verify. It's my second one of those, I've also had an rcbs version, and a 30 Gibbs. Gibbs gives you the most gain in case capacity. - dan
Right now I'm running 190 gr Sierra BTHP's out of the Savage at just over 2700 fps. Cases are holding up well. No pressure signs at all yet, I can likely push it a little faster, but I'm more interested in an accurate then a fast load. Both would be great, but we'll see. Barrel length is 26 inches. - danSo what FPS you shooting ? What bullet ? What barrel lenght ? I’m interestedRJ

Primers are Fedral LR. Powder is WC852, I think. I don't have my notebooks right here. I'll check next time I'm in the loading room though and let you know for sure. - danKool what powder ? Primer ?![]()
I have a 224 Clarke, 22-243 Middlestead, 22-250 AI, and a regular 22-250 (as well as numerous small case centerfire 22's from 22 Hornet to the 222 Rem Mag). Have used them all on ground squirrels (what we call gophers), badgers, coyotes, wolves, crows etc. They all work, they just give you a little more range than the smaller cases. I dont use them on deer, illegal here (in Alberta). - danA Clarke big in Canada, not familiar with it. Do you have 22-250. It can do 4000 fps. I guess you know. There prairie dogs and ground squirrels. The real test. Not bragging there just a a few farm where to shoot them, private property. Now I’m really full of questions about Canada.
