I have heard about feeding issues with a few of them, but mine is certainly not one of them. It works just fine, I have only had 1 incident where the casing got stuck in the chamber, but closing the bolt and opening it again was enough to get it out. This was a very rare event, and I have put approximately 500 rounds through it thus far, and it worked flawlessly every other time.
The accuracy is fantastic. Is it as good as a CZ? Maybe, maybe not, but it's less than 1/2 the price, so I can't complain. I have the FV, and the plastic stock is very basic. Flexes a lot at the foreend, and I noticed that the trigger guard is just a molded part of the stock when I did a complete disassembly on it, but it didn't bother me too much. For $200, who can complain?
I experienced excellent accuracy with mine shooting CCI minimags at 50 yards. Cloverleafs. If I ever get a chance to go out gopher hunting, this is the gun I'm taking with me. The 10/22 is fun for the "make-it-dance" factor of the semi-auto action, but when you want to make the shots land squarely on the intersection of the crosshairs, the Savage is it.
The fact that a $200 gun can come with a bull barrel (Ok, so maybe it's lighter than some of the bull barrels out there, but it's still a heavier contour than a sporter) and accutrigger completely blows my mind. Easily the best deal going in new manufacture bolt action .22s. BTW, I found the FV to be not that much heavier than the sporter barrel, and I compared both side by side at the store when I decided on the FV.
