Here are a couple MKII's... the first (purple) is an LR, the second (red) is an HM2...





This one is actually a 93R17, but I built a MKII clone of it in HM2, essentially identical but with a nicer bolt handle and a Rifle Basix trigger;

that is the one area ive been penny pinching, i think its high time i started dumping more cash into glass.

but im soooooo cheap!

It is worth putting nice glass on these rifles, they shoot so well. I run Bushnell 3200 elites on mine ( I have 3 - BV, BVTS and FVSS) Will post pictures when I figure out how!

TRR-SR with a Millett TRS-1 on Millett LOW rings and a completely cosmetic paintball muzzle brake

Edit: just noticed the dots on the barrel, it's gun oil, not pecker tracks......

Does anyone know where to buy this paintball muzzle brake?

So what thread is needed for muzzle brakes and cool stuff to the Savage barrels already threaded like that? Will any AR15 brake or flashider fit?

It has 1/2-28 TPI thread pattern so yes, most AR stuff will fit.

Here is what I picked up at the Winnipeg gun show on March 30th.

Left-handed, bolt action, 22LR, 5-round mag

I need to pick up a couple 10-round mags.

Haven't done anything to it yet except give it a good cleaning & oiling. I'll be shooting it at the cottage in a couple days. I'll report back on her performance.

Figure I'll post my stainless thumb hole mark ii. Just ordered an Apachee trigger kit for it and it's big brother in 204 not pictured.
Sitting atop is a Hawke Eclipse 30 4-16x50 with Burris Rings, quite a deadly little combination for the local rodent population!

So I recently got through the mail a Savage MKII FV from wholeale sports. A good experience, but when I opened the box, I was a little disappointed in the matte finish that was on the gun. No shiny blue. Does anyone know when this started happening?
