Savage or ??

I've got a 10 FP-LE2B (original McMillan stocked version) and it shoots great. Sure, it's Milspec-free but that doesn't seem to detract from it's ability to park 168gr AMaxs into small groups. You can get a deal on a Rem from P&D (if they have any left) but I fail to see what the draw is. More atermarket parts? Who cares? What do you really have to change? Nothing with a Savage.

Thanks for the suggestion. Any particular reason?

Remington's 700 is still a great design but they have been cruising on their reputation for many years and still expect a premium price for it. Savage figured it out a while back and their basic 10/110 and 11/111 models shoot as well or better for a lower retail price. Better value for money.
