Savage Revel, now shipping.......

I spoke with Savage USA today on the phone. The fellow I spoke with stated the proto-type Savage Revel Classic models that the employees' saw, definitely had the original Savage Indian Head logo on the butt-stock.

Apparently some Ken or Karen complained and said this was racist. Well, it didn't take long for those Indian Head Logos to be removed and taken away from the design yet again.

One has got to love the WOKE Liberal/Democrat culture these idiots have created.......:(

Very, very disappointing...........:(
Wait till you meet a Republican, absolutely nuts

Factory outlet store !!!
Haven't been to one of those in decades!
Port Colborne had a boot factory Elm & Main (1960)
Factory outlet in the basement, would sell all their seconds at a very good price.

Ya something like that... now what the address for Savage in Lakefield...

Lakefield factory is not open to the public. Went there for parts one time when passing by the town on a weekday and the reception door is locked.

I rang the bell and a front office woman opened the door a crack and said “Yes?” I asked if I could pick up a part and she said “No, we aren’t open to the public”, I said “can I call in and order a part from here”, and she said “no, you have to go to the website and get the number and call that”. I said “but that’s in the US”, she replies “that’s right” and she shut the door. lol

Sad really, that a Cdn company is fully controlled by the US.
I didn't think there was a factory outlet store, where maybe they could sell scratch & dent item or even something that didn't pass inspections... merely, in my opinion, it would be a good idea.

Maybe Savage has gone woke. Wrong crowd! Haven't seen a indian head on a gun since 2019. Have bought 4 rifles in recent years. I own a Revel DLX and it has no indian head. Last rifle i see it on in my collection is the A17 in 17 hm2.
Just got my new Revel Classic. Not too happy about it not arriving with " checkered, black plastic buttplate featuring the famous Savage Indian Chief emblem." Just a mottled black textured plastic buttblate. Rifle is nice, but would be classier with the advertised Savage Indian Chief Emblem.

Can't seem to find a "Indian Chief" Emblem buttplate for the Savage Revel Classic as an aftermarket purchase either.

Actually from my understanding, and as a former platinum Savage Dealer, Savage USA had advised me it was their idea in the United States to change the logo.

They denied it being politically motivated. But everyone knows this is exactly what it was.......:(
Agree. Can't even buy an aftermarket replacement buttplate to DIY to upgrade the looks.:(

I got my revel out to the range today. First time.

@25 and 50metres, lowest elevator and it's landing 4inches high. Ammo made little to no difference. Minimag vs standard velocity both very high.

Front post is already rather tall. It'd look goofy if it were any taller.

Something wrong with it?
