Savage Revel, now shipping.......

So which stores carries the DLX model now? Can't seem to search any stores having any available now.

And i hope the .17hmr veraion comes out soon too.

Maybe Savage has gone woke. Wrong crowd! Haven't seen a indian head on a gun since 2019. Have bought 4 rifles in recent years. I own a Revel DLX and it has no indian head. Last rifle i see it on in my collection is the A17 in 17 hm2.

The deluxe models are only $100.00 USD more expensive than the classic model in the USA.

Of course, we get screwed here in Canada. The deluxe model is approximately $150.00 CDN more than the classic model.

And here's the kicker, they are made in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada.....:)

I agree the idea of changing the Savage Indian Head Logo was definitely politically motivated.

I like Savage rifles, but prefer the old logo.

Where did you get a Savage Deluxe rifle? What caliber is it? What did you pay? If you don't mind me asking.......:)

Actually from my understanding, and as a former platinum Savage Dealer, Savage USA had advised me it was their idea in the United States to change the logo.

They denied it being politically motivated. But everyone knows this is exactly what it was.......:(

i bought one from SFRC in 22LR. $799.99 + tax. They had 10 when i picked mine up a couple months back. Our dollar sucks right now so it was close enough to MSRP for me

Haven't been to one of those in decades!
Port Colborne had a boot factory Elm & Main (1960)
Factory outlet in the basement, would sell all their seconds at a very good price.

Ya something like that... now what the address for Savage in Lakefield...

I spoke with Savage USA today on the phone. The fellow I spoke with stated the proto-type Savage Revel Classic models that the employees' saw, definitely had the original Savage Indian Head logo on the butt-stock.

Apparently some Ken or Karen complained and said this was racist. Well, it didn't take long for those Indian Head Logos to be removed and taken away from the design yet again.

One has got to love the WOKE Liberal/Democrat culture these idiots have created.......:(

Very, very disappointing...........:(
 
I almost forgot to say, the Deluxe version of these Revel rifles will start shipping in late April and early May, 2025.

I'm not sure why this time-frame is so late, especially when they are made right here in Canada at the Savage Lakefield, Ontario plant.;)
