Just got an email from Savage, it appears the new Revel rimfire is now shipping. I read a report back in April about the Ontario Gov. supplying $500,000 in cash to get the new line up and running. Good to see it actually happened. Apparently they have a take down pin as well as the receiver is removable without tools. Not real big on the name "Revel" figured they would have named it the Rival instead but I guess there must be some music lovers at Savage.
MSRP is $439 and $539.
Looking forward to seeing some reviews and checking one out some time soon searching around online does not seem to yield much.
https://savag earms.com/content/revel space added not sure if I can hot link this.

Edit: after doing some reading Revel is lever in reverse. I am really hoping it is a quality rifle. Looking forward to the actual reviews.

Yes, it does.Dlx version looks tacky as hell
Do some research. I think(Iām old so maybe wrongHad one out today and ran like a top, Even with the crappy irons we were still able to ring steel at 100yds, It'll be much better when they come out with an optics base so I can mount a LPVO or a dot, For the money the are well worth it and buttery smooth after some oil and a couple hundred rounds .
I spoke with Savage the other day and was told that the rails are being made by EGW, but will be a 1pc. No set date on availability as of yet.Do some research. I think(Iām old so maybe wrong) they use the Savage MK 2 rails.
At 1:35 in the video, the Savage Rep states the Classic version of this Revel Rifle will have an Indian Head Logo on the butt-stock.
I emailed Savage USA and asked this same question. Is this the DLX? Ya I don't see a 'First Nation' head...on the butt either.

Still has nice furniture!
Guess I'll start saving my 'milk money' for my next lever... or revel .
More than likely exported to American distributors then reimported to Canada so they can bump the msrp . More that one way to skin a CanadianWait what... weren't they made here?
EGW has been the only rumour so farScope mounting options?
